Always a wonderful meal at Otto's. The decor is quirky, fun and classy. Service is exceptional.

Sublime brunch - from highly personable greeting to fresh and creative varied brunch courses right on to the very last spoon of dessert. Mom’s Day brunch at Natalie’s is a family tradition. Impossible to pick a favorite course. The raw bar is perfect with wonderful softly poached shrimp and briny Maine oysters, among its stars. The charcuterie, salad and rolls, perfect. Loved the mainchoices — traditional egg with accompaniments, waffles and Mexican Torrijas (my wonderful first, but a recipe is now in my recipe software, so will enjoy repeats at home) with hot honey, syrup, berries, and heavy cream. The petite dessert options - a touch of vice, after the virtuous raw bar - balance the meal but a few extra steps this week will also be a good thing. When it is Natalie’s, you know the ingredients are impeccable, the chef and team select and execute great recipes, and the presentation, does both proud. The price — for what is offered — is fair. For us, it is a splurge but mom’s don’t grow on trees and a once a year treat needs to be just that. Thank you, Natalie’s!

We were so incredibly blessed to celebrate my husband’s birthday at Pomelia this week. From start to finish, the experience was truly exceptional. I had to change our reservation last minute, and they were so gracious and accommodating. It was our first time there, and they treated us like royalty the entire evening. The staff went above and beyond in the most thoughtful ways — they brought out a special appetizer from the chef, our waitress was unbelievably kind and hospitable, and she even hand-signed a birthday card for my husband (shoutout to Marybeth, you are the best.) At the end of dinner, they surprised him with a cannoli and candle to celebrate. We also had our boys with us, and they both received a little Lego packet to help entertain them during dinner, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was INCREDIBLE, but honestly, it’s the service and genuine hospitality that will keep us coming back. You just don’t experience this level of kindness very often anymore. Thank you for making my husband’s birthday feel so special and memorable!
