Me & my husband dined at The Quod yesterday lunchtime and had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish - albeit there is no air con in the restaurant. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and elegant, making it ideal for both a special treat and a leisurely meal. The food was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and thoroughly enjoyable. What really made the visit stand out was the service. The team were warm, attentive, and professional without being overbearing, which added to the relaxed feel of the meal. A fantastic all-round experience—we’ll definitely be returning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Quod to anyone visiting Oxford.

We had a very enjoyable lunch. The curry was delicious and the Butcombe beer was excellent and well kept. We will definitely be back.
