Portugal Cove Restaurants

We loved absolutely everything about Snow White Laundry. Our group of 7, all first time guests, enjoyed various dishes including the cod main, Denver steak, bao bread, cod fritters, snow crab gnocchi, pease pudding dumplings and dessert of the evening as well as several cocktails/mocktails…..10/10 on every bite and sip! We look forward to our next visit to try more of the menu, both food and drink. I have to say that what stood out as much as the incredible food was the vibe/ atmosphere and service. We felt so welcomed from the moment we entered and our servers were personable, helpful and really added to our experience. The other diners were obviously also enjoying their meals and there was a feeling of camaraderie in being together in this wonderful space. We love the backstory of how the restaurant name was chosen as well, so heartwarming. We will be back….soon!

Delicious food, prime rib was perfectly cooked. Service was excellent

Our server was incredible, food was quick & delicious, drinks were great and it was very quiet in the restaurant. Zero complaints! We truly enjoyed celebrating our anniversary there and will be back!

The food was fantastic, service was even better. Excited to return again!

First time at Grotto, fantastic food and good value. Cool spot and service was great, had Colin for a server. On my short list when I visit St. John’s again, highly recommend!
