I ordered the cod and chips, which was cooked to absolute perfection—crispy, golden batter on the outside and wonderfully flaky fish inside, served alongside lovely chunky, home-cooked chips, classic mushy peas, and a fantastic, fresh tartar sauce. To finish, I had a generous slice of lemon meringue pie paired with a hot cappuccino in my favourite mug thanks Amanda! I would like to give a special shout-out to Amanda & all the staff who always give a wonderful attentive service and to the owner, who clearly takes immense pride in creating a welcoming, top-notch atmosphere. This is my second visit here and will be back . Sunday lunch is delightful and We were able to sit back and relax and we were not rushed through our meal .
