We're regulars - even had our wedding celebration in the downstairs event venue in 2017 - and as such, we're used to being more than happy with the Dattler. This time around was no different from our previous visits: the food, the wine, the service - all absolutely exquisite. And as an added bonus you get the spectacular view of Freiburg and beyond, all the way across the Alsace to the Vosges mountains on a clear day. We're already looking forward to next time.

Food was very good but what really positively surprised was the very friendly & professional way the young staff interacted with us. Very seldom you meet such friendly & professional staff in this type of bar / restaurant. Top marks to the management!
