Skagit Valley / La Conner Restaurants

While Seattle, Washington, might be most popularly recognized for its coffee scene, this city and the surrounding towns, like La Conner, are also known for their outstanding oysters. Shucked oysters can be found on just about any menu here and are typically served on the half shell and by the dozen. For those who can't quite get into the raw scene, fried and baked oysters are also very popular. If seafood isn't what you're in the mood for, La Conner also has a great Mexican restaurant serving up everything from steak burritos and chimichangas to carne asada, and it is also very popular for its refreshing margaritas. The town also has some great waterfront dining options with upscale American fare ranging from grilled steaks and salmon to truffle fettucine.
