Party of 4, we had a great evening. The food was excellent, and the Vegan options were top notch! Waiting staff were welcoming & attentive. Would highly recommend, and will certainly return.

Really enjoyed a Sunday dinner here, last minute booking. The food was delicious and the waiting staff were very helpful and willing to chat. The staff friendliness makes such a difference. We’ll be back.

Sunday lunch deal good value but portion size far too big for me although hubby cleared his plate! Staff were all pleasant. It was very busy but they coped well and apologised for the delay. The place itself is not very well advertised from the street would be my only criticism. Could do with a better sign outside. Overall a good experience.

We always enjoy our meals at the Black Bull and feel it's a pity more people don't use this lovely pub more often for eating. We brought along our friends from USA who were craving good old-fashioned English food and the Black Bull delivered at such great value for money. I am vegetarian - always a challenge to find something I like, but here, their Mushroom Pie was absolutely lovely! The staff are always friendly, non-intrusive and endearingly self-mocking at times and the Manager is very helpful and likeable. My advice would be - don't always patronise the "posher" places in Morpeth - try out this little gem. Use it to avoid risking losing it.
