At Pizza East, Sorrento Saturdays is your weekly escape: a sun-drenched Italian feast, a killer DJ, and the kind of afternoon you’ll want to repeat all summer. From 11am to 4pm every Saturday, we’re serving up the Mediterranean on a plate and the sound of Shoreditch in the speakers. Starting from £24.50 per person, dive into a seasonal set menu of summer snacks and Pizza East favourites. Begin with your choice of three aperitivo bites – think calamari fritti with roasted garlic aioli, pea & potato croquettes, steak tartare and crispy bread – before moving onto a proper main. Choose from a spicy diavola (it’s Italian for “devil”) pizza topped with ’nduja, salami, and chilli flakes, baked gnocchi alla Sorrentina in roasted tomato sauce, a creamy tomato & burrata salad, and more. Round it out – if you know what’s good for you – with a zesty Amalfi lemon posset brûlée for an extra £6, best-served alongside a dash of limoncello. For even more zing, upgrade to 90 minutes of bottomless drinks – mimosas, Aperol spritz, prosecco – starting from £25 per person. The food takes you south, but the vibe keeps it east. We’re kickstarting things with a headline DJ to set the tone, and local names bringing the energy every Saturday after that. It’s the best of Sorrento, served with all the soul of E1.

Start with a cocktail on arrival, then dive into hands-on session guided by expert pizzaiolos. After perfecting your creation, enjoy your freshly made pizza with a delicious dessert and a soft drink or water. Set in the vibrant atmosphere of Shoreditch, this 1.5-hour experience is a fun and flavourful gift for food lovers.

Shake and stir a selection of cocktails with a hands-on mixology masterclass at Pizza East. Imagine having your own signature cocktail to wow friends and family. During the masterclass, you’ll enjoy a house cocktail on arrival followed by learning how to master a classic cocktail then a bespoke cocktail of your own - delicious results assured, no matter the spirit, style or taste preferences! On the way, you’ll pick up a bit of cocktail history and develop your knowledge of the fascinating world of spirits. It’s all complimented with a fabulous platter of snacks to share.
