About this restaurant

The Orange Room restaurant in London’s Mile End has had a face lift. Once a quirky, unpolished gem of a restaurant, The Orange Room now boasts smart, bright decoration with new posters of Arabian views. The shisha pipe has been relocated outside, of course, but it puffs on. The Orange Room is exactly what you want – friendly, delicious, generous, with all-day service that’s affordable even the day before payday. Signature Lebanese dishes include the massive list of fifty meze, lamb dishes, vegetarian choices and lovely mango lassi. Bring your own wine for a £2 corkage fee. In the cold-hearted city, The Orange Room is a haven.

The Orange Room was a nice find to have a nice extended lunch with colleagues. Friendly staff with good lunch time deals. Big portions and wide variety. Nothing amazing in terms of atmosphere but still a nice cosy cafe/restaurant style lebansese restaurant. would recommend if you work in the area.

The Orange Room, Mile End - Excellent food as always. When we arrived there being 10 of us popping in for a quick bite to eat we were initially told our order was not enough for the booking! After pointing out that no where on top table did it have this ludicrous request and also pointing out we could quite happily leave he allowed us to order. Apart from this which has never happened on the many times i have been, the food is always good and service attentive if a little haphazard at times.

The Orange Room in east London is a family-friendly destination for a cheap, tasty meal. The restaurant-cafe is reasonably inviting and comfortable, although a little chilly near the door on a cold February evening. The food is authentic Lebanese, with feta cheese parcels and an aubergine and tomato based moussaka stew being particularly delicious. With just the owner serving, service could be a little slow, but was perfectly pleasant. Definitely recommended for no-frills re-fuelling.

The Orange room in Mile End is rather like a cafe, but the food was tasty, the service very pleasant, and it was nice to be able to buy a bottle of wine and drink it there. A starter and main course came to £16 per head and my only criticism was that the grilled prawns were a little dry. The aubergine vegetarian main course was excellent, though and the rice well cooked well cooked

The Orange Room is a local restaurant for me and over the past year I've visited many times. It provides a cheap and cheerful dining experience with attentive waiters and great lebanese meze. The resturant lacks ambience because there is never anyone else in there, but this means that you often get some special treats like complimentary dessert from the chef or huge portions.

Visited Orange Room on a Sunday evening. Restaurant quiet but the food was some of best Lebanese I've tasted - particularly the starters. Worth travelling to Mile End for if you don't live there.

We visited The Orange Room in London's Mile End, a lebanese cafe/restaurant. The food is a mixture of Meze and main courses with a selection of soft drinks and juices. they are not licensed but will allow you to bring your own (for a glass charge of £2 per person) the service was attentive and the food was on the whole well cooked tasty
