Ox is now open for both indoor and outdoor patio seating, seven days per week.

Please note, the weather is out of our control, and therefore with any outdoor experience, there is always a risk of inclement weather and heat waves. As a small restaurant, we have limited ability to accommodate additional seating in the dining room. In the case of inclement weather, we will do our best to accommodate by moving your reservation inside, but we cannot guarantee seats will be available.

OX Restaurant finds inspiration in the wood-fired grilling tradition of Argentina, and with it, the culinary heritage of Spain, France and Italy.

Showcasing prime local meats and fish, OX also features seasonal produce in distinctive preparations.

Wow…what a GREAT dinner!! Food was prepared superbly and plated beautifully! All staff were kind, enthusiastic, cheerful and incredibly competent. In a word: STELLAR. Wines were pricey but the moderately priced French blend we chose, the Chateau la Grolet, was excellent and complemented all the meats of the (highly recommended) Asado Argentinio for two. We were truly delighted with our experience.

One of the best experiences we’ve at a restaurant in Portland in a long time. Food itself was incredible only to be matched by equally fantastic service. The physical space is warm and welcoming. Can only hope that Lansdowne enjoys great success and is here for a very long time.

At Langbaan, classic Thai food is transformed into a refined five-course tasting menu using the bounty of Pacific Northwest ingredients. We pride ourselves on providing a unique Thai-style dining experience inspired by century-old traditions here in Portland, Oregon.

Our tasting menu changes seasonally, inspired by different regions of Thailand and the cultural history that surrounds the regions. Immersive, convivial, and intimate, the restaurant has only 33 seats and offers two seatings each night. We are hidden inside our sister restaurant, Phuket Cafe, on NW 23rd Place & Thurman.

Reservations are released in one-month blocks. Bookings become available at noon on the 15th for the following month. (I.e., January reservations become available on the 15th of December.)
