The beautiful and elegant architecture of the building mirrors the contemporary concepts in the food.     Dos and service are consistently great. Room can get noisy (4 stars) but everyone is so pleasant and efficient, it’s understandable why so many want to go there.

    Very good dining experience. Food and service were excellent. We had a difficult time selecting food as there were a number of appealing items. We always find when visiting the Kitchen(which we do often) that the music too loud. It’s hard to have a discussion.

    Service - EXCELLENCENT ambiance- enjoyable Menu- lots of good choices Drinks - excellent Food - meh Short ribs were flavorless Pork chop was DRY ( flavor was there) cashew chicken was lil dry but acceptable

    We are fans...In fact, we are HUGE fans of The Kitchen!!! We live in the area and find ourselves eating at The Kitchen more than anywhere else in the Jackson area. The Ono, Tuna and Muhamara are always a must for appetizers! For the main dish, while we always say we might try something else, my wife almost always gets the Black Cod and I end up getting the Salmon. Of course, make sure leave room for the Sesame ice cream with the cookie skillet! Lastly, you might get lucky and get Beste for your server! But, if you don't, don't be too concerned as we've always had an amazing experience regardless of who your server is. We've just become partial to Beste!!!

    All around amazing!! A must try in Jackson. Potato chip pie was like nothing we have ever had. Very friendly staff.

    Food was subpar. Couldn’t eat one of their dishes braised pork had zero taste. Ambience was fine bit noisy. Service was okay no complaints

    We spent two of our 4 nights in Jackson at The Kitchen because our first meal was so good. Apps: Hawaiian Ono, Scallop Crudo, and Muhammara - each amazingly delicious with such unique flavors. The Mushroom Raman was a large portion with rich sesame & bullion broth, Duck confit was super tender with wonderful asian spices & sauce over perfectly cooked rice & bok choy. The tempura shrimp was tasty & a good share as was the Cucumber salad with wonderful crunch from toasted quinoa. But the ultimate star of the show was the King Salmon with curry over black rice. Cooked perfectly with a delicious curry with just the right kick as not to overpower the rich salmon. Eat here and I doubt you will find anything less than delicious. Top off the food with excellent service & atmosphere - this is a gem not to miss in Jackson!

    Great food but service seemed rushed or at least very efficient. Tables were crammed close together - our neighbors weren’t more than a foot away from us.
