We had a great meal for four at the Princess. Service was good, food was great quality and portion sizes were substantial so value for money excellent. Upstairs was reserved for a private event so it was pretty loud for conversation as it was a Saturday night. We'd definitely come back.

Very good Sunday roast, excellent Bloody Mary as well, prices in the average for Shoreditch.

This was our second visit for a Sunday Roast. Our first visit was excellent so we had the same expectation. Unfortunately, the experience was no better than fair except for the ambiance. Seated alone upstairs the wait staff disappeared for long periods. All the main dishes were just warm by the time they made it to us. The sirloin was tough and Yorkshire pudding over cooked. Quite a let down!

Service and food very good. Unfortunately, it was a hot day and the air-con didn't work so it was uncomfortable and we left earlier than we would have done if it had been cooler. Also, very limited choice of draught beers and no cask ales.

Had an outstanding experience last night for my son’s 18th; outstanding food and personal service, it’s a shame we aren’t often in Shoreditch because this place is a gem Scallops were a must, also the duck and the scotch eggs. Pork and steak were perfect too. We had a lot of the menu and nothing let us down.

Nice interiors but there wasn’t much ambience and it was very loud (acoustics weren’t great). The meal was expensive - high quality food overall but I had the paneer and cauliflower curry which I found disappointing, as it lacked sauce and tasted dry, plus a very small portion. I left hungry :( My friend ordered the deer which was great though.
