Best Afternoon Tea Restaurants in Bamfurlong

Really great afternoon tea, it was a Christmas present from last year. We had a super glass of champagne to start with. They have us a lovely gap just to enjoy the drink and ambience of the restaurant. The selection of sandwiches were nice, there was a lovely sausage roll which was yummy. Great selection of mini cakes and beautiful fresh scones. Very generous jam and clotted cream, we were both well and truly full. The staff were really great plus it was quite quiet so very enjoyable. Website easy to use, table booked for breakfast Saturday morning. On arrival choice of table offered by gorgeous woodburning stove. Polite friendly staff, no long wait for breakfast to arrive and it was gorgeous, very good value fir money. Locally sauced produce if the highest quality. Coffee was so good we had to order another one each! Would definitely recommend The Glass House for a lovely foodie experience to everyone!!

This is an excellent choice for a special occasion. Attentive staff, delicious food and really relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Also affordable but you felt special for a special occasion. Excellent service.

A very nice restaurant, very clean, nice atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We were shown to our reserved table very quickly, a short wait after ordering but the quality of the food made it very worthwhile. The menu is quite extensive catering for main meals or light lunches, the food is of a very high standard, fresh vegetables and local butchers meats. Very good lunch, would definitely recommend.
