They have us a lovely gap just to enjoy the drink and ambience of the restaurant. The selection of sandwiches were nice, there was a lovely sausage roll which was yummy. Great selection of mini cakes and beautiful fresh scones. Very generous jam and clotted cream, we were both well and truly full. The staff were really great plus it was quite quiet so very enjoyable. The Countess was beautifully decorated and the tables looked spot on. When the food was served - it was super fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. We were shown to our reserved table very quickly, a short wait after ordering but the quality of the food made it very worthwhile. The menu is quite extensive catering for main meals or light lunches, the food is of a very high standard, fresh vegetables and local butchers meats.
