    We had dinner at The Joiners Arms last night on a road trip back from Scotland. We stopped off in the area & we’re lucky enough to get a table. A lovely friendly pub, gorgeous interiors & relaxing upbeat vibe. I had a party with 2 starters & a 2 sides & my partner had the South Shields haddock. It was all delicious washed down with my favourite NZ Sauvignon. The staff couldn’t have been nicer - we’ll be back!

    We have visited here on a number of occasions and always found the staff very helpful and friendly and the food excellent. We had Sunday lunch and a dessert and the quality of the whole meal was excellent and very tasty. It’s a lovely place to visit when we head up the coast for the day and we’ll certainly be back again.
