He was so knowledgeable and engaging, explaining everything really clearly and making the whole experience fun and enjoyable. The food was delicious, the recipes were easy to follow, and Josh was really supportive when we were practising the different techniques, making sure we felt comfortable giving everything a go. Chloe was also brilliant and so attentive throughout the evening, making sure we always had drinks, keeping everything tidy and packing up our food ready for the next course. It really made the whole experience feel relaxed and well looked after. We had a brilliant evening, learnt some new skills and ate some amazing food. Would definitely recommend! Thanks so much to Josh and Chloe for making it such a lovely experience. I've already recommended it to everyone I work with!More infoBlackfriars Restaurant££££• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.6

- JJamieNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoParty of 2, we booked very late and were a few minutes late owing to a typically tardy train. On arrival, service was prompt and we were shown to our table in what was a busy (though by no means very loud) restaurant. I had the steak baguette with frites and my sister went for a pasta dish that was surprisngly plentiful given it was from the light mains menu which was apparently excellent. I asked my steak to be done to medium well done and I may as well have asked for perfection because that was what was delivered. I've been a few times now and never had a bad experience, even during peak demand. The setting is great, the food is invariably great, the staff are lovely, and you are not deafened by music. Is it my favourite restaurant in Newcastle? Yes it is.More infoCôte Brasserie - Newcastle££££• French• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.5

It was very busy but they coped well and apologised for the delay. The place itself is not very well advertised from the street would be my only criticism. Could do with a better sign outside. Overall a good experience.More infoLairds House££££• British• Bedlington•4.8
