As always, the service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Introduced this place to our son and it is his favorite restaurant.

we had an excellent lunch on the back patio. beautiful remodel of the restaurant. The beet salad and rose wine were delicious as was the duck confit salad. we will be back again soon!

The Veranda is a great favorite of ours. We live just 5 minutes away, but it's worth a much longer drive. At the Rancho Bernardo Inn, the Veranda has both indoor and outdoor seating. We always choose outdoor, both to enjoy the fresh and sunshine and the lovely view, and because our well-behaved Labrador, Teddy, can join us. The food and service are excellent, and the menu prices are very reasonable. The cocktail and wine list is ample, and there is a selection of beers as well. We have dined here often enough, in the 18 months since moving here from Pennsylvania, that the staff recognize and welcome Teddy - and my wife and me, too.
