Best Pubs in Henley-On-Thames

I visited this place 3 times and the food is really delicious and tasty. Friendly staff, Amazing customer service and the owner Edward is really friendly and satisfys the guests needs. We were 7 of us and i have visited this place with mercy and Alisha ♥️😋😊

Very good food. We had the French Onion Soup and Calamari to start. Ravioli and Duck were fantastic mains and seasonal. The sticky toffee pudding was exceptional. It would have been better if the brownie was served warm, it was the only dish that we would have changed. The wine was very good (pinot noir). The staff were all great and very attentive. We had a lovely time and would definitely be back again soon!!

Enjoyed our Sunday lunch. I had wanted to try the nut roast after a recommendation from someone and wasn’t disappointed. Friendly servers were very accommodating and looked after us very well.

It’s great to see this pub open again. It is such an amazing building and location. The new owners are doing a great job and the Thai pop up kitchen serves great food. A local classic car club were back for their second visit in a month, so it must be good! Only two things to note, they were quite busy when we went, and I believe they had a couple of staff missing, so service could have been faster, but we weren’t in a hurry, so no problem. The other thing is that vegetarians are very limited for choice at the moment. You have to ask for a vegan Pad Thai specifically, or you might get fish sauce and prawns! Apart from those teething problems it was excellent and we will be back!
