My only wish would be that they would offer more gluten-free options. Their soy-sauce contains gluten and many items that could be gluten free are off limits if your immune system sees gluten as an invader. That said we enjoyed this dinner here as we have others in the past. Our server Michael is outstanding! I reserved a table for two at Deacon's New South for Saturday October 24, 2026 only to learn this day was the restaurant's last day of operation. Despite the fact that all of the employees were going to be laid-off and Saturday was their last day, everyone was very cheerful and attentive. We felt sad for them. The food was really good.
