Of course we had to have the roast dinner as it was a Sunday, and it did not disappoint. The roast chicken was excellent, cooked very well, and there was plenty of it. I felt very looked after, and and the whole experience was truly memorable, in a good way. The staff were especially considerate and helpful. The beef was incredibly tender and came with a generous Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and vegetables. We started with garlic prawns and finished with a sensational pear, honey and almond tart with pistachio ice cream. The set lunch was good value for money and the complimentary glass of wine was a welcome bonus.
