- OTOpenTable DinerDurham/County Durham •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe visited the grill as part of our Fenwicks Xmas window experience. We were accompanied by my 5 month old granddaughter who was in her buggy. The staff were very good at seating us in an appropriate place with the pram and were very attentive. The food was, as usual, delicious. A salmon starter followed by the seafood stew and a burger. We were about to leave when they surprised us with a piece of basque cheesecake (also delicious!) as it was my birthday. I eat either here, or the fish counter quite regularly and it never disappoints.More infoPorterhouse Butcher & Grill££££• Steakhouse• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.7
- JJamieNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoParty of 2, we booked very late and were a few minutes late owing to a typically tardy train. On arrival, service was prompt and we were shown to our table in what was a busy (though by no means very loud) restaurant. I had the steak baguette with frites and my sister went for a pasta dish that was surprisngly plentiful given it was from the light mains menu which was apparently excellent. I asked my steak to be done to medium well done and I may as well have asked for perfection because that was what was delivered. I've been a few times now and never had a bad experience, even during peak demand. The setting is great, the food is invariably great, the staff are lovely, and you are not deafened by music. Is it my favourite restaurant in Newcastle? Yes it is.More infoCôte Brasserie - Newcastle££££• French• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.5

- DDavidNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoOur first visit to Dobson and Parnell at first looking at the menu. Being a fussy eater was concerned there may only be one choice. How wrong I was. After a lovely welcome from Alex and showing us to our table she explained the dishes taking time and also helping explain the wines on offer. We had one of the nicest dinning experiences ever. Thankyou so much. To all yous are doing a fantastic job. Hope to be back soon.
