- CCaroleNewcastle and Northumberland •9 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoExcellent night with friends at Hibou Blanc. Lovely busy atmosphere with friendly attentive staff - the restaurant manager was brilliant and she found us a table in the bar when we moved from the restaurant. The food was delicious - we ordered prawn cocktail, cheese soufflé, soup starters and sea bass & veggie option mains Great wine list and a throughly enjoyable eveningMore infoHibou BlancPrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.6
- MMelanieNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe said we wanted a light lunch and our helpful waiter suggested 4 to 5 small plates between us, which worked out perfectly. A crisp glass of house white, plus a large bottle of tap water placed in a wine cooler next to our table (nice touch) then a perfect allongé to finish - sadly we were too full for the sweet menu. Service was friendly and not intrusive, and we enjoyed our chat with the manager as we were leaving, who explained about the upstairs dining area and encouraged us to have a look. Altogether a very stylish and welcoming restaurant with a good atmosphere, and we felt very well looked after. We will certainly be back.More infoThe French QuarterPrice: Expensive• French• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.8
