Honeysuckle is more than a restaurant. It’s a network of community spaces centered around the values of ancestry, nourishment, and reclamation that was founded by two- time James Beard Award Semifinalists Chef Omar Tate and Chef Cybille St.Aude-Tate. Positioned in the North Broad area of Philadelphia, our Michelin Guide recommended space, offers a fresh perspective on food systems - expanding the idea of Afrocentricity in food by redefining the limits of a restaurant and celebrating the legacies and recipes of those that came before them.Offered in our main dining room, our multi-course tasting menu experience places an emphasis on supporting local Black farmers & Indigenous ingredients while highlighting the food ways & cultures that we are designed by. Our a la carte menu is offered in our bar & bar lounge area only.

Can’t express enough how amazing this restaurant is. I called in advance to set up a birthday dinner for my dad and the entire staff went out of their way to ensure it was the most special night. Above and beyond. The food is also incredible. We cleared our plates and will definitely coming back. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

We had an incredible Mother’s Day experience at Honeysuckle. The tasting menu was creative, flavorful, and beautifully executed from start to finish. I have a shellfish allergy, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me by substituting swordfish something many restaurants hesitate to do on a tasting menu. Every course still felt intentional and elevated, not like an afterthought. What really stood out was how deeply the menu represented the diaspora through the flavors, ingredients, and storytelling. You could feel the cultural influence in every dish while still getting a refined fine dining experience. The sauces and flavor combinations were some of the best we’ve had in Philly, and the complimentary champagne was a classy touch for Mother’s Day. We also added the McDonald’s Money Burger at the end, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Phenomenal hospitality, phenomenal food, and a restaurant that truly knows how to make guests feel taken care of. We’ll definitely be back.
