The ambience was great, it felt like a cool oasis on a hot day. It was busy but that added to the atmosphere. The service was excellent as was all of the food. We were a party of three and all had different starters and mains which were all delicious. The wine list was extensive too. The cost was in the high end bracket but we didn't mind as the food was so fresh, well cooked and beautifully presented. I would particularly recommend the potted shrimp, the calamari and the crispy duck starters; and the fish and chips, the halloumi and the fish cake mains. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the service is always friendly and efficient, and the food is consistently amazing. Everything tastes fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. There’s a great variety on the menu, with plenty of options for different diets, and the portions are generous without feeling heavy. It’s the perfect place for a casual meal that still feels special.
