Summerville Restaurants

Service and food was outstanding, we got engaged the same day before having lunch here. The restaurant accommodated us to an earlier time before our reservation and even gave us wine on the house for our celebration! Everything was perfect and the view is beautiful.

Views were phenomenal. Ate outdoors as weather was mild for this time of year, but heaters came on at just the right time to hold back any chill. Staff were approachable and professional. Cocktails and entrees were great. But we were disappointed in the prime rib spring rolls for an appetizer, which had been recommended. Too cheesy and floury. Overall a great meal and spectacular perch!

My husband enjoyed our first visit to The Creag. We chose to sit inside as it was starting to get a little cool. We still had an incredible view. We started with the hush puppies appetizer which came highly recommended. My husband ordered the scallops and I ordered the filet. Both were very good. Our server was very personable and attentive. We were staying at the resort and they drove us to the restaurant in a golf cart and came back to pick us up after dinner. Great evening!

Absolutely perfect date night dinner. Our waiter was so attentive but not intrusive. He gave us ample time to enjoy the stunning sunset view with drinks and never made us feel rushed. They had set the chairs on the outside of the booth to let us take full advantage of the view and when the sun was down we moved into the curved booth side to enjoy our dinner. The windows framed the sunset so it almost seemed like a painting before us. The drinks were beautiful and the French burgundy wine was one of my favorites I’ve ever had. Dinner was so delicious and we decided to split our entree and it was served family style with our ground stone mustard aioli NY aged strip sliced to perfection for us. The braised carrots were delicious and tender too. We really enjoyed the potato dish from the sides as well. The ambiance was one where you felt taken care of and the room wasn’t crammed full of tables. It gave a very exclusive and special feel as a guest. We will be going back next time we get anywhere close to that area. The resort it is located in also has beautiful grounds for wandering, and being October, the campfires were lit all around the property to enjoy the peaceful location. This restaurant is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

As always a wonderful meal. Never disappoints. Staff are wonderful. A true elevated local restaurant.
