- CCourtneyCaribbean •8 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoOur overall experience was absolutely excellent a definite 10/10! Everything about this restaurant exceeded our expectations, from the food and ambience to the service. We were greeted by the hostess, who welcomed us with a smile and took our coats. The atmosphere was incredibly comfortable and inviting, with beautiful dim lighting, great music, and lovely painting on the walls that I really enjoyed looking at. Once seated, we were served complimentary bread, and it was absolutely delicious! It was so good that we had to ask for seconds. The bread was soft and practically melted in your mouth, and the sweet, flavorful butter was the perfect addition. For appetizers, we ordered the Caesar salad and crab cake and both were a 10/10. For my entree, I had the ribeye with mac and cheese. The steak was so juicy and cooked exactly as requested. Every bite was delicious! We were too full to order dessert, but since we were celebrating our anniversary, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which was also delicious. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end the evening. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food, service, atmosphere, and attention to detail made for a wonderful dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would absolutely return!More infoButcher & Singer$$$$• Steak• Center City•4.8

- MMerylGoldPhiladelphia County •29 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe hadn’t eaten at The Oyster House in years, and much to our surprise, it was excellent in every way. Our server was friendly and very helpful in every way from drinks to desserts. We came for lobster rolls to compare them to Portland, Maine, where we had recently traveled and where the lobster rolls are phenomenal for freshness and large chunks of pure succulent lobster meat. But we must say that the lobster rolls are equally as excellent as any we ate in Maine, much better than we expected! And the homemade shoestring fries were perfectly cooked as well. We’d recommend this restaurant highly to anyone looking for a truly authentic seafood experience!More infoOyster House Philadelphia$$$$• Seafood• Center City•4.8

Discover Center City
The whole world should knows that there’s more to the diverse dining scene of Center City than cheesesteaks and hoagies. Israeli, Mexican, Japanese and a melting pot of other cuisines are dished up daily in the shadow of the Liberty Bell. French bistros are becoming as commonplace as Italian delis. If you haven’t tried black truffle pizza, what’s stopping you? Whether it’s a cocoa-cured rack of lamb or a vegan wood-roasted carrot that you’re craving, Center City likely has it. Fine dining establishments and casual rooftop bars co-exist in perfect harmony, and top chefs collaborate rather than compete. By the way, the iconic cheesesteaks and hoagies aren't bad either.
