We’ve been coming to Powerhouse for years, and it’s always been one of our go-to spots. Last night’s dinner, though, was on an entirely different level. The new chef is bringing such a fresh, creative energy to the menu. We started with calamari served with a black garlic aioli that was absolutely delicious. For my entrée, I had scallops over creamy polenta with pomegranate seeds, pomegranate molasses, fresh mint, and lemon. The combination was bright, balanced, and incredibly flavorful. It was one of those dishes that makes you stop between bites just to appreciate how well everything works together. A big part of what keeps us coming back is our waitress. We always ask to sit in her section because her service is consistently outstanding. She’s warm, attentive without hovering, and her recommendations have never steered us wrong. She clearly knows the menu and genuinely wants guests to have a great experience. It’s exciting to see a restaurant we already loved taking chances with fresh, seasonal ingredients and unexpected flavor combinations. We shared our excitement with our waitress, and she and the chef were genuinely thrilled to hear how much we enjoyed everything. Powerhouse has always been a favorite of ours, but this felt like the start of an exciting new chapter. We can’t wait to come back and see what the chef creates next.

Had another great experience at Slopeside Friday night. Seems I can't go wrong - every time we go, everything is great. We had a pizza, a burger and a reuben at our table and all were excellent. Service also great. And their boneless wings are fantastic!

Charming, hospitable, lovely setting with food that was well prepared and presented. Would definitely dine again and our next trip.

Our waitress Christina was great. We were celebrating closing on a house soon, and she asked us some questions about our tastes to help personalize a few of the dishes for us. She even drew a little house on our to-go bag, which was a nice touch. Christina was friendly and personable which made the dinner even better.

New summer cocktails are a hit. I had a delicious lemon meringue martini handcrafted by Karen. Angie took great care of us. The chef prepared the colossal crab with brown butter for our dinner accompanied with fresh green beans and home cut fries. It was excellent. Our friend had the homemade chicken fingers with fries. They were done to perfection. We can't wait to go back. Thank you for a great evening.
