We met the hostess, to our surprise said “ happy anniversary “ Our server also greeted us by saying “ happy anniversary “ When our appetizer was served, a waiter from the bar came over with 2 glasses of champagne. The meal, the service, the atmosphere was very special. The scallops were tender and the polenta was creamy with a nice cheese flavor. My husband had Chilean sea bass with asparagus and Parmesan risotto. The portion was large and he enjoyed everything. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable in the upstairs library. My drink was inventive and strong ( Emily’s fever dream?).
