Always a pleasure dining at Little Plum. Food and drink quality is excellent and staff is extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Took a friend I haven’t seen in years and she was raving the whole time back to her hotel.

This speakeasy-style omakase has real character. The ambience is dark and atmospheric, and every detail feels like a reflection of the chef's own taste; it's authentic, not manufactured. The food matches the room. This is not your average sushi, in the best way. Each course was packed with flavor and texture, and the creativity showed throughout, including a smoking machine used to infuse some of the dishes with cherry blossom smoke. Personal highlights were the hotate, mackerel, uni bowl with quail egg, and warm sesame tamago. Hiro was a fantastic host. I'd happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Oahu.

Restaurant was short staffed so we waited quite a while for drinks and food orders. Server was kind and apologetic. Poke bowls are always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend and hope staffing gets better.
