Rye Bunny is the newest concept from husband-and-wife restaurateurs Jon Sybert and Jill Tyler, the team behind the Michelin-starred restaurant Tail Up Goat.
Chef Sybert's menu showcases hyper-seasonal, craveable dishes with unexpected twists, shaped by relationships with Mid-Atlantic farmers and purveyors he's cultivated over two decades.
Rye Bunny introduces a fresh model for hospitality in D.C. The restaurant will operate as a counter-service concept, allowing the team to rethink the traditional dining structure while maintaining the creativity and quality guests expect from the folks behind Tail Up Goat.
Rye Bunny is focused on seasonal cooking, community, and sustainable hospitality, where exceptional ingredients, inventive dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere come together in a uniquely modern D.C. dining experience.
While walk-ins take priority, two tables per night are available via OpenTable.

There are no exceptions for cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to your booking. In order to accommodate reservations throughout the evening, we have reservation limits of 1.5 hours for parties of 2, and 2 hours for parties of 3 or more.
    A 20% service fee is included on all orders to help support our small business pay a living wage to all non-management employees. Tipping on top of this is appreciated but not expected. Tipping directly impacts the take home pay for all hourly service and kitchen staff.
